This video is from a recital celebrating the musical compositions of my colleague Crawford Gates, just prior to him moving away from Beloit, Wisconsin, where he had lived for almost 40 years. Crawford had invited me to come out to Janesville (near Beloit) to perform a movement from a piece he had written for me a number of years earlier. Dr. Gates is the pianist in this video, which was also the only time I have had the honor of performing the piece with him.
